AlignmentHORSE with Liz VanRoss

Aligned-Balanced-Connected sponsors AlignmentHORSE-MASTER Series 2024-25 with the support of Golden Valley Riding Club. MASTER Series clinics will be run by Liz VanRoss in the UK.

AlignmentHORSE is a revolutionary science-based approach to equitation. Riders will be taken on a journey starting with the anatomy of their horse and how this organises movement and informs how best to teach our horses about locomotion in alignment. You will learn how to apply this knowledge for outstanding performance while safeguarding your horse’s wellbeing.

This knowledge is invaluable to owners, riders, handlers as well as equine therapists and equine professionals such as dentists, saddle-fitters, podiatrists, bitting specialists, nutritionists, veterinarians. Non-riders may attend as auditors for an opportunity to learn the theory and watch the action.

AlignmentHORSE-MASTER Series 2024-25

The MASTER Series is a full year of regular training with Liz VanRoss. You may attend any or all of the dates. The more you attend the more you will understand how to work with the Laws of Locomotion and how to explain to your horse the way to achieve easy, pleasurable & outstanding movement.

You may attend as many of the in-person training days as you wish. There are lecture/demos and clinics and a variety of ways to interact in person with Liz VanRoss. In the Box Office you may book your places (clinics will be held so long as attendees exceed the critical number). As an auditor, you may pick and choose individual days. Someone wishing to bring a horse must book an entire clinic … first making a formal application for a riding place (see Rider Application).

The focus of each clinic will be determined by the riders & horses present and their needs. Throughout the MASTER Series Liz VanRoss will cover all of the 12 Conversations of AlignmentHORSE. There will be a mixture of practical work with horses and theoretical study throughout the clinics. The more of the theory and anatomical science that you cover with Liz VanRoss, the easier and faster it will be for you and your horse to succeed.

Please “keep these dates” in your diary (but keep checking here to see any tweaks to the schedule)! Book via the Box Office

Feedback from Liz VanRoss’s courses:

Liz’s approach is like finding the missing piece of a jigsaw puzzle or the A of the ABC of something. Finally after all these years of having the lessons, going to the demos, the trainings, the clinics, reading the books, and seeing the greats, I can at last see a path to engage the horse’s ability to join with his human counterpart in finding, seeking and keeping alignment. Because without alignment there is no balance and without balance there never can be a functional equine partner for us to dance with.

Naomi Underwood BHS NPC Coach

For a quarter of a century I have searched around the globe for the “Elusive Obvious” or the “Missing Link” in developing, training and riding my horses. At last Liz has provided the missing parts of the puzzle. No holding us back now!! Thank you Liz and AlignmentHORSE.

Katherine Harberd

I am loving this approach and I truly see how it can benefit all horses! It’s like we have been let in on a huge secret thanks to Liz’s generosity…
